24 Hr PH Study

A 24 Hour pH Study is a diagnostic test used to measure acid levels in the esophagus over a full day. It is commonly performed to evaluate acid reflux (GERD) and determine how frequently stomach acid enters the esophagus. A thin probe is placed through the nose into the esophagus or a wireless capsule may be attached to the esophageal lining to continuously record pH levels, providing accurate data for diagnosis.
