Capsule Study

Capsule Study, also known as Capsule Endoscopy, is an advanced diagnostic procedure used to examine the small intestine. It involves swallowing a small, pill-sized camera that captures thousands of images as it travels through the digestive tract. These images are transmitted to a recording device, allowing doctors to detect conditions such as bleeding, inflammation, tumors, or ulcers that may not be visible through traditional endoscopy.

Capsule Study is a completely non-invasive and painless procedure. The patient simply swallows the capsule, which naturally passes through the digestive system while capturing images. There is no need for sedation or hospital stay, and patients can continue their daily activities during the test. The capsule is disposable and exits the body naturally.
